"That's most generous," the headmaster schmoozed. "And of course we would love to have your grandchildren at our esteemed school."
Meredith turned her back, so she didn't see the headmaster cheer in the background.
Feeling faint, Meredith put her hand to her head. "I'm feeling very tired..." she said right before she crumbled to the ground.
Chasity patted her sister's shoulder. "I know, Chantal. It's going to be okay."
"Oh, quit being a baby, Chantal," Charity sniped. "Crying doesn't help anything!"
Chasity sat back in surprise. "Charity! What an unkind thing to say!"
"Well it's true!" Charity yelled as she jumped up from the table and ran to her room.
"Excuse me guys, I"ll be right back," Chasity told her friends.
"I miss her so much," Charity cried.
Chasity rubbed Charity's back. "I know you do. We all do."
