Round 21 Census

Sim State Uni - 16th Class Graduation

16th Graduating Class:
(1st column):  Lizzie McMillan, Regan Bear, Lestat Downie, & River McMillan
(2nd column): Lacy McMillan - Valedictorian, Kent Carter, Carmen Lew, Junior Goss, & Theo Hart
(3rd column): Walker Reed, Michael Reed, & Jackie Bertino
(4th column): Annie Landry, Christa Downie, Riley Bear, & Mark McMillan

Drop-outs:  Alton Carter, Meadow McMillan & Daniel Carter

Lizzie - Lizzie spent most of her time hiding from her vicious roommates who were very displeased with her waffling affections.  Occasionally, she would emerge from her room late at night to secretly rendezvous with someone under the cloak of darkness.

Lestat - He missed Alyssa terribly & couldn't wait to return home to shower her with love.

Walker - Early on, he was struck by Rachel's beauty.  Trying to play it cool, he tried to spend time with her playing chess or just talking.  It took her making the first move to take their relationship to the next level.  Now that it was time to go back to Paradise Bay, he wondered whether or not their love could survive the distance.

Junior - Junior spent most of his time playing chess and working hard on his grades.  He supposed he took his relationship with Meadow for granted, especially after she was expelled.  Hopefully she still had time for him by the time he got back to Paradise Bay!

Jackie - What a beautiful young lady she grew up to be! She'd felt a little awkward running into her high school flame, Melvin Carter.  She was worried that he would want to pick up where they left off after she left school.  But, thankfully, they both seemed to have moved on with no hard feelings!  Now if only she could find someone else to sweep her off her feet!

Kent - Kent was often found alongside Junior Goss, his best friend. He enjoyed playing chess, pool & tossing the football around with his other good friend, Michael Reed.

Christa - Christa enjoyed school and all the friends she'd met there.  She was ready to go home to see her Dad... she was just worried that he wouldn't be as excited to see her since he'd already moved on with What's-Her-Name.

Riley -Riley couldn't believe he'd been such a jerk to Roxanne after going to Uni.  Even more surprising was that she'd forgiven him!  One well-time apology & all was forgiven!  He would spend all of his time making sure she never regretted her decision!

River - River had bad luck in the romance department.  Jane Carter had stolen his heart when they were in highschool & despite the fact that she'd thrown him over for Daniel Carter, she'd always had his heart.  He'd hoped that when she saw that Daniel had moved on that he might have a chance...  But, he supposed that wasn't to be.

In an attempt to get over her, he let himself be seduced by Nicole Reed.  After an impromptu engagement that ended badly when he'd caught her making out with Edwin Carpenter, he was sure he was just supposed to be unlucky in love.

Regan - Regan was quite studious.  Every now and then she would take a break to call Alan and chat.  She knew he couldn't wait for her to come home & get married to raise a family.  But, truthfully, she wasn't sure if she was ready for that!

Michael -Michael spent lots of time with his buddies Junior Goss & Kent Carter.  He'd often been jealous of Junior's relationship with Meadow, especially because for the first few years, he'd harbored a serious crush for her.  But, it would be breaking every code in the Bro Handbook to even think about her.  Maybe if he kept busy with work, he could get her out of his head!

Annie -Annie transported to the roof whenever she had a moment to work on her potions & study the spells in the book the witch had given her.  But, none of the spells she learned appealed to her.  She was so worried about causing damage and destruction that she'd never even touched her wand.  Maybe once she returned to Paradise Bay, she could find a way to use her magic....

Lacy - Aw, what a beautiful woman Lacy grew up to be! So striking & lovely! But, don't be fooled by her beauty.  Inside that pretty little head is a sharp brain and a desire to be best at anything she attempts.

Theo - All Theo wanted to do was date, but he seemed to be cursed with the Hart's luck in love.  Hopefully he would find someone once he returned to Paradise Bay like all of his family before him!

Mark - Mark was hopelessly devoted to Lacy.  He worked hard to maintain a high GPA.  He was slightly jealous that Lacy managed to make the highest grade, a 4.0.  She beat him by .1 points!  And she'd probably never let him live it down, either!

Carmen -Carmen spent her last few semesters trying to lose those Freshman "Fifteen."  As in the 15 pounds she'd put on her freshman year.  She never realized how into fitness she would become, either.  She was often seen putting on her sleek exercise outfit and heading out for a jog.  She couldn't wait to get back to Paradise Valley to see Alton, her one true love.  Hopefully the dream wedding she was planning would come true!

Sim State Uni - 17th Class

Freshmen at Boys Dorm:
(top row) David McMillan, Cliff Goss, Martin McMillan, & Travis Bradshaw
(middle row) Trent Bradshaw, Ben Landry, Jeremy Carter, & Melvin Carter
(bottom row) Chevy McMillan & Edwin Carpenter

Freshmen at Girls Dorm:
(top tow) Mary McMillan, Katherine Reed, Chloe Bachman, Victoria Reed
(middle row) Rachel Bear, Jane Carter, Roxanne Carter, Krista Landry, Violet Potter & Meadow McMillan
(bottom row) Nicole Reed & Cora Reed

David McMillan & Krista Landry:  David & Krista found each other their first nights in the dorm & expressed their love for each other.  She thought of him daily & couldn't wait to graduate and start making babies with him!

Cliff Goss & Jane Carter: Jane's heart had been broken by Daniel.  Before moving to Uni, he'd called her and apologized to her for never calling.  He'd met someone else though, he explained.  He promised he still loved her, he was met the love of his life at college.  He wouldn't tell her who she was, though.

Thinking she would never fall in love again, she'd been surprised to be introduced to Cliff Goss.

Martin McMillan & Victoria Reed:  Martin called Victoria daily, hoping that he'd be able to talk her into a date. Finally, he'd succeeded and they'd had the best night of their life!  Infatuated with each other, Martin dreamed of proposing to her before they moved back to Paradise Bay!

Trent Bradshaw & Lakishma Clark:  Trent spent all his time studying & ignoring his twin brother Travis.  Finally, the loneliness caught up with him.  Calling up the local campus matchmaker, he'd asked to find his true love.  He and Lakishma had instant chemistry!  If only he hadn't need to hurry off to his final before he'd swept her off her feet!

Ben Landry & Meadow McMillan:  Ben & Meadow were surprised to discover a mutual interest in nature.  Perhaps that's why they fell in love on one of their long, leisurely walks.

Chevy McMillan & Cora Reed:  Chevy renewed his attempt to convince Cora to fall in love with him the minute he found her on campus.  Hopefully he'd be able to convince her that he was the only guy she'd ever need!

Rachel Bear & Walker Reed:  Rachel had been surprised to look up & see Walker joining her at chess.  They'd been hot & heavy in highschool.  Before Edwin, she thought bitterly.  Why Walker would want anything to do with her, she had no idea!  She'd failed him so miserably.  Hopefully she'd be able to make it up to him... if he was interested in being more than friends, that is...  Because so far he never even expressed an interest in anything more!

Roxanne Carter & Riley Bear:  Roxanne looked up from her homework, shocked to see Riley standing there, agitated.  She didn't know what to say to him after all that time.  She was even more surprised when he dropped to one knee and serenaded her.  Clutching her hands in his, he promised to make it up to her.

Melvin was surprised to run into Jackie one night at a party.  Forcing a smile on his face, he'd greeted her casually, all the while longing to stroke her cheek.  She'd been so excited that they were able to be best friends that he didn't have the nerve to tell her how he felt.  Maybe he could make her change her mind... eventually...

Chloe was madly in love with Edwin.  She hoped that one day he would realize that she was all he needed, but as time wore on, she started to seriously wonder if that would ever happen.

Travis, Edwin, Nicole, & Mary - These four incorrigible romance Sims spent the entire time swapping partners & attempting to meet new lovers.  Travis & Nicole and Edwin & Mary seemed to pair off as the semesters wore on.  Maybe they all deserve each other!

Jeremy, Katherine, & Violet - These three were very unassuming and easy-going students.  They didn't attract much attention and kept mostly to themselves.  None of them found love or really searched for love, deciding to spend most of their time skilling & working on their schoolwork.

Jakobson - Round 21

Vamsi glared as she let him in.  "So you decided to come & see your son.  I was wondering if I would need to send a birth announcement."  Bitterness laced her voice.  "Wouldn't Marissa have loved to see that?!"

Drake gazed at the baby, scanning each feature & hoping to see no familiarity.  It would be much easier for him to be able to deny paternity.  "Marissa is at her sister's for the time," he said sadly.

Ah, Vamsi thought, smiling.  "She left you?"

"You needn't look so happy about it," Drake growled.  "May I hold him?"

Vamsi handed him over without hesitation. "I named him Dierk Pai Jakobson."

Drake nodded as he cradled his first born son in his arms.  "I suppose we should discuss child support.  Or would you prefer to go through the courts?"

Scowling, Vamsi glared.  "Business first, as always!"

"Where is the nursery?" Drake asked abruptly.

Vamsi led him through her home to the spare room she'd set up the stylish crib.

Drake tenderly put Dierk in his crib, then whirled on Vamsi.  "Anything between you and I has long since faded.  All that remains between us is business & our son.  I think I made that perfectly clear!"

"Oh, I'm so sick of you, you pompous blow-hard! Let the attorneys hash out child support & visitation!  Get out of my house!"  Vamsi shooed his away.  He was so arrogant and stern, as though there was never anything special between them.  Sullen, she glared at the sleeping baby.

Smelling something foul, she looked down & saw that the child had wet itself.  "For the love of...  that's all I need today!  To change your nasty, stinky diaper!"

(Ah! The first time I've ever seen someone lecture a baby! Yay! Oh... I mean.. poor little Dierk!  Vamsi is going to be that kind of mother!)

Needing as much distance from Drake as possible, Vamsi had quit without any notice and quickly found employment at another firm.  Some other executive would benefit from her experience.

Quickly, she befriended her immediate supervisor, Mr. Cameron.

It never hurt to enjoy a few happy hours with the coworkers!

"I like your hair!" Roberto yelled as they danced.

Vamsi cupped her hand at her ear and yelled back, "What did you say?"

Robert took the opportunity to lean closer.  "I said I like your hair!"

Smiling, Vamsi danced a little closer.

A few drinks later and Roberto & Vamsi were enjoying a slow dance, regardless of what their coworkers wagging tongues might suggest.

Let them talk! Vamsi thought to herself.  I'm going to enjoy myself!

Roberto had insisted on giving her a ride home.  She couldn't help but think how sweet & romantic he was!

Quietly, he stroked his hand down her cheek.  "I'll see you tomorrow at work, Ms. Jakobson."

Vamsi felt like she floated inside.  She was in love!

Hearing the boy crying in the kitchen, Vamsi scooped him up and plopped him in bed.  Hopefully the nanny changed his diaper before bedtime, because she was not changing that dirty thing!

Vamsi was not surprised when Roberto dropped to one knee and proposed to her several weeks later.  She'd made herself invaluable to him.

They gathered a few friends together to toast to their engagement.

"Mooooooooooom!" Dierk cried as the music thumped through the walls.   For a long time no one came.  Then, Roberto stuck his head in the door & harshly barked at Dierk to hush.

The next morning Dierk got ready for his first day of school, worried that he would get lost or forget something important.  He wanted to make his Mom proud!

Rauscher - Round 21

Madison checked their new place out.  "Niiiiice," she said out loud as she wandered the livingroom.

"Isn't this place great? Who knew Patrick had such a great house?" Ruby asked.  Madison glanced around.  This was the perfect party place!  The Grad Pad, they called it.  Originally there were supposed to have been all their friends together, but slowly one by one they'd succumbed to marriage and babies!

Madison didn't know when it happened, but she'd started having feelings for Patrick...

Not one to curb her impulses... she went for it...

"Hey man, I was wondering if you had that disk..." Matt paused when he caught sight of who Patrick was snuggled up against under the blankets.  "Oh.  I see."  Silently, he retreated from the room.

It hurt to see Madison with someone else, but that was how their non-relationship was.  They attached when they weren't seeing anyone else...  Apparently right now she was seeing someone else...

Madison cleared her throat when she ran into Matt.  She knew he'd walked in on them, but didn't know what to say.  "So... are we cool?" she asked.

Matt shrugged. "Yeah, we're cool.  Just like we always say, if we're not married when we're in our 30's - we can marry each other."

Madison smiled. "Yeah. Something like that."

Ruby couldn't believe Madison was so heartless! Didn't she know what a great guy Matt was?

"I just wanted you to know I'm here for you if you want to talk," Ruby told him.

"Thanks Ruby, I appreciate it," he said patting her shoulder.

Ruby sighed.  She wondered if Matt would ever see her as something other than a friend.

"Hey! Look at you, stranger!" Patrick said when he saw Gloria hovering outside.

"Look at me!" she teased. "Look at you!"

 One thing led to another...

 "What's wrong?" Patrick asked groggily.

"What's wrong?!" Madison yelled.  "I catch you in here with that... that... ugh!"

Patrick pushed his hair out of his face.  "What? It's not like we were dating... Oh God," he said, dropping his head down to the pillow.  "You thought we were dating?"

Madison turned on her heel and stormed from the room. What an idiot she'd been!  Why did she keep jumping from guy to guy when she had a steady guy in Matt.

Finding him in his room, she shook him awake.  "Matt, Matt, I need to talk," she said.  Finally Matt rolled out of bed.

"What's wrong, Mad?" he asked, blinking.

Madison lifted her hand to stroke his cheek.  "I was thinking about you.."

"No, let's not go there, Mad.  We don't date for a reason.  Been there, done that. You have Patrick."

Madison held back the tears.  "But... he... he... cheated on me with Gloria. I walked in on them together & he said that we weren't dating!"

Matt winced.  He knew how much it hurt to walk in on someone you loved lying with someone else.

"I'm sorry, Mad.  I'm here for you... just not in that way.  We just won't work as a couple."

Madison rushed to her room and slammed the door. She was so confused.  Why did life have to be so complicated?

Even more complicated...

 And even more complicated...

Patrick couldn't believe it. Madison really was pregnant.  And he was the Dad.  There was only one thing left to do.

Dropping to one knee, he asked if she would marry him.

Not a minute too soon the vows were exchanged.

Welcome to the world Paxton!

"You understand, right?" Patrick asked Matt again.  "We just need some space to start a family.  This isn't the Grad Pad anymore!"

Matt shook his head.  "Yeah, I understand," he said, his gaze lingering on Madison & the baby.  "Good luck to you guys," he said sadly.
