Landry - Round 10

Sally checked out the view from her new front yard.  Tamping down the urge to strip her clothes off and go frolick in the waves, Sally did the next best thing.

She called up a few friends for a paaaarty!

Sally was having so much fun in her little beach house.  Space was cramped and the toilet was tempermental, but the view was spectacular and the company was superb!  Everyone that came over got treated like Sally's best friend.

Sally invited over an old college friend, Rueben. They'd really hit it off during freshman year. She'd casually dated him over the years and they'd kept in touch afterwards.

They really hit it off one night after a few drinks and the sound of the waves crashing on the sand.

Sally loved waking up every morning before Rueben woke up and taking a dip in the ocean.  It was the perfect time of day to center herself and get ready for all the things she'd be doing.

Rueben tended to sleep in. He'd gotten a job as a busboy at a nearby restaurant and was working his way up the food chain.  Sally wasn't working yet.  She was keeping an eye open for a journalist position, but nothing was available yet.  Not like she was worried - she was still having fun throwing parties!

She ran into Roxie one day on the beach and invited her up to the house.  She hadn't gotten to know her sister-in-law very well and this was the perfect time to bond with her.  She didn't notice when Roxie sat a little close to Ashley and started flirting with him, she was busy talking to Catalina about some guy named Alvin that dumped her.

Sally came up with the idea to throw a big bonfire party of the beach one night.  She invited over all her friends and pulled out some champagne bottles and a fruit punch kegger.  Everyone had fun talking, dancing and drinking through the night.

Rueben surprised her when he dropped to one knee by the bonfire and proposed to her under the starlight.

"Sally, I have to say you're the most vivacious, beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.  Your hair in the firelight and the moonlight blows me away.  Marry me and continue to make me the happiest man in the world!" Rueben said as he presented her the ring.

"It's beautiful Rueben!" Sally cried as she launched herself into his arms, swiping away the tears from her eyes.  "I will! I love you!"

Sally and Rueben's wedding was well attended by 30 of Sally's closet family and friends.  (Michelle and Adam couldn't stop making out... something about the wedding & the fresh ocean air seemed to make people frisky!)

Because Sean and Hazel seemed to sneak away from the group quite a lot as they flirted with each other.

Sally gazed at her family and friends and felt so lucky to live in such a great little town.  Everyone was so happy and loving!

"Do you take me, Sally Carter? To have and to hold, for better or worse?" Rueben asked, his voice trembling with emotion.

"I do!" Sally said as the audience clapped.

"Then, with this ring, I thee wed," he said as he slipped the ring on her finger. "I lov e you, Mrs. Landry," he said as he leaned forward to kiss her.

"I love you, too, Mr. Landry," Sally said as she slipped the ring on his finger.
